Extending the Bid for a Smarter Home to Your Immediate Outdoors

GardienĀ®, the trusted brand behind hundreds of market-leading lawn and garden tools and accessories used by gardening enthusiasts for the past 50 years to prepare, grow, protect, and beautify outdoor living areas, has officially expanded its portfolio on the back of new products and updates. According to certain reports, these new products begin from adjustably elegant plant stands that come bearing an improved self-leveling design and new ‘locking teeth’ for even greater stability. Meant to custom-fit virtually any planter and offer an unmatched combination of style and support, the stands in question are made using durable premium grade aluminum and steel construction, a fold-flat design for easy storage, and on top of that, they don’t ask for any extra tools to assemble. The stated stands are also available in a variety of finishes, each one well-equipped to withstand harsh outdoor weather conditions. Markedly enough, so far, Gardien has supplied larger styles designed for 16-to-22-inch planters weighing up to 125 lbs, but moving forward, it will also offer new smaller styles in the name of Madison, Wallace, Butterfly, and Orleans. These new options will weigh no more than 75 lbs. and at the same time, fit 12-to-16-inch diameter planters. Next up, we have the new Coil-Flexā„¢ Garden Watering Hose, powered by Gardien’s patented anti-kink helix technology. The said hose comes decked up with Grip-n-Spinā„¢ fittings, fittings that do a lot to make it the most hassle-free premium garden hose on the market. Featuring a combination of flexibility and durability, it further conceives a drinking water safe non-stop flow, while simultaneously maintaining a low recoil memory for easy unwinding and lie-flat handling. To be more specific about its build, though, Coil-Flex Hose is given a super lightweight design, totaling up to around 2.6 lbs. In case that didn’t sound like too big of a detail, we can mention how it also has an abrasion-resistant outer jacket which maintains complete flexibility in low temperatures, qualifying it as a perfect hose for early & late season use

“Our mission is to provide homeowners, gardening enthusiasts, and lawn and garden retailers with the highest quality products, backed by a half century of product knowledge and expertise,” said Josh Levitt, executive vice president at Gardien. “We are especially excited to showcase several unique new packaging and Point-of-Sale (POS) display solutions, which we’ve specifically designed to save precious floor- and shelf-space for our retail partners.”

Moving on, the development even brought an update in the context of Gardien’s plant protectors, commonly known as rose cones. Already the best performing and top selling plant protection system in US, these plant protectors will benefit from Gardien’s partnership with Ohio-based EpsilyteĀ®, a partnership which will focus on producing the first ever rose cones made from 50% post-consumer recycled materials. More on that should reveal how the said cones will have a unique SCS Global Certified polystyrene foam (125LR) to provide sustainability, and it will do so without cutting any corners when it comes to insulation or protection.

“With our ACE retail partners in mind, we also redesigned the packaging and display options for this entire product line,” said Peter Ogilvie, vice president of marketing at Gardien. “Consumers can see more options and enjoy a cleaner visual experience, while retailers save a significant amount of floor and/or shelf space depending on location and layout.”
