Are you a windows 7 user? Then you are putting yourself in grave danger …says the official Microsoft Newsroom. The company is warning that the windows 7’s ageing platform is open to various security threats
“Today, [Windows 7] does not meet the requirements of modern technology, nor the high security requirements of IT departments,” says Markus Nitschke, Head of Windows at Microsoft Germany.
The official post goes much deep in attacking Windows 7 for its “long-outdated security architectures”
But the incredible attack by the company on its own platform doesn’t stop there. Microsoft says that sticking with Windows 7 will result in “higher operating costs” for users due to problems with reliability and compatibility. The company also warns that many chipset manufactures such as AMD, Intel, and Qualcomm are stopping driver support for windows 7 and the new chipsets from these manufactures will be incompatible.
But many experts in the industry just sees this as company’s next desperate attempt after the ‘infamous nagging’ to move the users to Windows 10. So there is nothing for the Windows 7 users to be scared off – at least for the time being
