According to new speculations about Apple’s virtual reality headset, the rumored Reality Pro, the firm is adopting an unorthodox approach by providing an extra power pack.
This information comes from a recent newsletter from renowned industry expert Mark Gurman, who claims Apple took the decision to “reduce weight and improve comfort.” The battery pack is tiny enough to fit within your pocket and will be connected to the VR headset through a cord. This design decision contradicts the majority of headsets, which normally include an internal battery, such as the Oculus Quest 2.
