Digital Transformation In Supply Chain Management

The word “digital transformation” is frequently used, and various people have varied interpretations of what it signifies. Digital transformation is incorporating digital technologies into all aspects of an organization. My company, ARC Advisory Group, produces a report on the 25 manufacturers with the most mature digital transformations. The study finds and highlights leaders and best practices. The report offers a comprehensive look at what it means to be digitally transformed. “Leading businesses adopt a strategic approach, integrating digital technology across their value chains.” Design and engineering, manufacturing operations, maintenance, logistics, supply chain, business systems, customers, products, and organizational structure are all prone to change as organizations analyze and update processes and deploy new tools and technologies.”

The bulk of the time, when individuals talk about digital transformation, they are not specifically referring to supply chain digital transformation. APQC performs supply chain and logistics research to assist firms in evaluating the performance of their own processes and functions in comparison to their peers. The APQC has recently done best practice and benchmarking studies on digital transformation. This survey-based study collects quantitative data and information on practices or performance drivers. The final research focuses on the present state of important practices in digital transformation in supply chain management, with over 1,100 respondents from diverse sectors.
