Capgemini works with businesses to help them restructure and manage their operations via the use of technology. Capgemini is a leading provider of consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services worldwide. In the growing world of cloud, digital, and platforms, the Group is at the forefront of innovation to cover the complete range of customers’ prospects. Every day, the Group is guided by its mission of releasing human potential via technology for a more inclusive and sustainable future. Its clients trust Capgemini to address the entire breadth of their business needs, from strategy and design to operations, fuelled by the fast-evolving and innovative world of cloud, data, AI, connectivity, software, digital engineering, and platforms, due to its strong 50-year heritage and deep industry expertise.

Capgemini Engineering brings together a unique set of skills from Altran’s world-class engineering and R&D services, which Capgemini bought in 2020, and Capgemini’s digital manufacturing experience under one brand. Capgemini Engineering facilitates the confluence of the physical and digital worlds with deep industry expertise and cutting-edge digital and software solutions. It helps clients accelerate their journey to Intelligent Industry by combining the skills of the rest of the Group. Capgemini Engineering employs nearly 52,000 engineers and scientists in over 30 countries, working in aerospace, automotive, trains, communications, energy, life sciences, semiconductors, software & internet, space &defense, and consumer products. “Our digital offering portfolio covers the entire value chain from product and services design to customer experience. We continue to accelerate the introduction of new industry-specific offerings in the fast-growing markets of intelligent industry, customer experience and sustainability,” says Aiman Ezzat, chief executive officer, Capgemini Group.

Today, a company’s ability to quickly derive value from present and future technologies is critical. Sogeti is a company that unlocks the potential of technology. That’s because creating value from technology is their passion, whether it’s assuring end-to-end quality in the application lifecycle, lowering security risks, shortening time-to-market with the cloud, or safeguarding the environment with AI. “The strong growth achieved in Q3 reflects the strengthening of the positive trends of the past few quarters in all sectors and regions. This momentum confirms that we made the right moves to position the Group as a strategic partner for the digital transformation of large corporations and organizations, leveraging Cloud and Data/AI,” says Ezzat.

As part of a more extensive effort to provide fair access to the COVID-19 vaccine, particularly in low-income countries, Capgemini has joined the United Nations campaign to assist in battle disinformation. In May 2020, the United Nations started the verified effort in response to the pandemic, intending to promote and share clear, fact-based information and foster global unity. Working with UN agencies, influencers, civil society, corporations, and social media platforms, the campaign reached one billion people in 130 countries and 50 languages by 2020. Capgemini is donating €1 million to the United Nations Foundation and the Impact Foundation (India) to promote global and local Verified information projects. These initiatives are carried out by the UN Department of Global Communications and first target nations that have been severely affected by the epidemic. “Vaccine inequity is one of the world’s biggest obstacles to ending this pandemic and recovering from COVID-19,” says Ezzat. “Today, misinformation and the lack of access to science-based public health information in some regions is hindering equitable access to vaccination. As a global leader with a strong sense of responsibility to the communities in which we live and work, Capgemini is committed to supporting the Verified initiative.”

With over 270,000 workers in almost 50 countries and relationships with a wide range of technology suppliers, Capgemini has the resources and knowledge to respond rapidly to client needs—a critical advantage in a digital era when deployment is measured in weeks rather than weeks months.
