According to a customer service representative for Refinitiv, the London Stock Exchange’s (LSEG.L) Refinitiv news and data platform Eikon had a global outage on Friday, the latest such failure in the last 18 months.
The issue had been escalated, and the relevant team was trying to resolve it as quickly as possible, according to the spokesperson.
According to several customers, the service was restored on Friday morning.
