On April Fools’ Day, Twitter Inc (TWTR.N) published a message on its official account saying it was working on an edit button, eliciting both laughter and tears at the announcement of the long-awaited feature.
Asked if the tweet was a joke, Twitter said in a statement, “We cannot confirm or deny but we may edit our statement later.Dictionary.com’s verified account tweeted a link to the “Definition of Unfunny.”
