Bitcoin, the world’s largest and most well-known cryptocurrency, is up 2.4 percent from its low point of $36,146.42 earlier this year.
The ethereum blockchain network’s coin, Ether, fell 12.27 percent to $2,631.35 on Friday, losing $368.18 from its previous closing.
