Aligning the Elements to Help You Get the Most Out of Your AI Infrastructure

Coherently, Inc., a new startup backed by NetActuate, has officially announced the launch of Coherently AI, which happens to be a revolutionary software platform capable of simplifying, scaling, and monetizing AI infrastructure.

According to certain reports, Coherently AI arrives on the scene bearing Global Command Manager (GCM), a multi-tenant solution that makes it possible for telcos, enterprises, and cloud service providers (CSPs) to rapidly deploy AI environments, and resell GPU capacity, across hosted, self-hosted, multi-tenant, and air-gapped deployments.

More on that would reveal how the platform effectively packs together best practices from the NVIDIA Reference Architecture with an automated “zero trust” networking approach to provide “cloud in a box” functionality. As a result, customers should be able install entire AI datacenters, right from networking hardware to server firmware and OS layer, in a fraction of the time typically required. This they can do while seamlessly extending white-label AI services to their own customers.

All in all, such a setup will eliminate the steep learning curve, high cost, and security headaches often associated with AI deployments.

Talk about the whole value proposition on a slightly deeper level, we begin from the promise of dynamic isolation, a feature where tenants are granted secure access to bare metal servers or virtual machines in seconds. Complementing that would be strict zero-trust enforcement handled by BlueField-3 DPUs and Spectrum-X Cumulus Linux switches powered by NVIDIA.

Next up, we have a tenant lifecycle management facility. This facility involves real-time provisioning and deprovisioning of GPU resources, something which ensures on-demand flexibility, whether you have a handful of tenants or thousands.

Another detail worth a mention here is rooted in the prospect of white-label branding. You see, operators and enterprises (super-admins) can integrate logos, custom themes, domains, and even custom HTML/CSS/JS.

Then, there is the potential for meaningful revenue generation. Here, customers can resell unused GPU services to external customers (tenants) on demand. Coherently’s built-in marketplace and brokering tools also tread up a long distance to help you capture new revenue streams when AI hardware is underutilized.

Joining that would be the platform’s customization capabilities, as well as its tendency to deliver full control at your disposal. This is made possible by the fact that every function, including provisioning bare metal, GPUs configuration, and more, is available through a secure JSON-based API.

Coherently AI also offers you a feature related to deep integration. In essence, operators can tie Coherently into existing billing, authentication, or internal portals to manufacture a seamless user experience for tenants and super-admins.

Moving on to the platform’s ability to provide automated infrastructure management, it refers to the technology knowhow in terms of automatically discovering and configuring every component in real time, including networking switches and server firmware.

Hold on, we still have a few bits left to unpack, considering we haven’t yet touched upon the solution’s focus on reducing complexity by a dramatic margin. Coherently AI achieves that on the back of pre-validated drivers, container toolkits (such as NVIDIA Container Runtime), and specialized library stacks that all come together to eliminate the trial-and-error of building AI environments from scratch.

We also haven’t touched upon how the whole package under focus here is optimized for NVIDIA RA, complying with NVIDIA’s reference architecture and supporting up to 8 GPUs per server and low-latency, along with RDMA-based connectivity at 400 Gbps via BlueField SuperNICs. Customers can also come expecting an option to choose raw hardware access or near-native virtualization performance for generative AI, inference models, or telco-specific applications (e.g., vRAN).

Among other things, we ought to mention that and Coherently AI is well-equipped to support on-premises, hosted, and completely air-gapped deployments, meeting sovereign data regulations and government security requirements.

“Coherently AI addresses the fundamental complexity of AI infrastructure,” said Drew Hastings, CTO and Co-founder of Coherently. “By blending automated installation, high-performance networking, and robust multi-tenancy, we’re giving telcos and enterprises a true ‘cloud in a box’ solution. With faster time to market, direct ownership of data, and the ability to resell AI factories with white-label branding, our customers leverage new levels of flexibility and speed while maximizing their ROI.”
