The 24th edition of the invitation-only summit will address compliance, sourcing resilience and sustainable design on February 1-2 2027.
NASHVILLE, Tenn., 2 November 2026: Marcus Evans has announced that the 24th AmericaPack Summit will take place on 1 and 2 February 2027 at The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. The invitation-only event will bring together VP and director level packaging leaders from FMCG companies across North America, alongside a select group of suppliers and solution providers, to address the issues that will define packaging strategy in 2027.
The timing is deliberate. As U.S. states begin actively enforcing Extended Producer Responsibility legislation, brand owners face tighter reporting requirements, labeling enforcement and the prospect of penalties replacing warnings. Substrate economics continue to shift, and consumers increasingly expect evidence rather than promises on sustainability. The summit is designed to help executives turn this pressure into measurable competitive advantage.
The program is built around six priorities:
· Resilient Supply Chains: sourcing strategies, supplier diversification and substrate pricing decisions in a market where every link is shifting.
· Regulatory Roadmaps: navigating California's SB 54, multi-state EPR reporting and labeling enforcement.
· Future-Proof Packaging: material innovation, smart packaging and format advances that keep brands ahead of cost, compliance and shelf pressure.
· Sense-able Design: the premium, sensory and inclusive choices that make packaging a brand's strongest asset.
· Circularity and Recovery: closing the gap between packaging designed for recyclability and packaging that re-enters the material stream.
· Consumer Behaviour: how shoppers, loyalty and demand shape decisions, from sustainable accountability to brand trust.
Discussions will be led by Lead Moderator Jamie Stone, Partner and Member of PA's Management Group at PA Consulting Group. Confirmed speakers include Herve Buzot, Director Global Packaging, and Vivian Wu, Vice President, Global Indirect Procurement, both of Estée Lauder. They also include Juli Cronan, Labeling Director at Philips, and William A. Singleton III, Director, Global Packaging for Innovation, Sustainability and Lab Operations at Mars, Inc. Amy Lea Raglin, Creative Packaging Director at JCPenney Brands, will bring a design perspective. Reckitt is represented by Venkatesh Sagiraju and Gerardo Camacho from its procurement teams.
The line-up also features Akshay Ashok Adhau of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Ronnie Kinoshita of Versuni, Steven Fischer of Fischer Voyage, Subash S. Mohanvel of West Pharmaceutical Services and Nohra Currie, Founder of Foliclub LTD. Together, they cover strategy, procurement, labeling, sustainability, design and operations.
Delegates can expect keynote presentations, real-life case studies, interactive forums and curated one to one meetings. Marcus Evans reviews every supplier and solution provider profile to ensure it aligns with the needs of packaging decision makers, which keeps conversations relevant and vendor evaluation efficient.
One R&D Packaging Innovation Manager at Reckitt, reflecting on a previous edition, described the summit as "insightful and well organized, with valuable industry knowledge, engaging discussions, and excellent networking opportunities throughout."
