PFAS Remediation Xchange USA 2027 has opened its Call for Speakers, inviting utility executives, industrial site owners, remediation leaders, engineers, waste-management specialists,
regulators, laboratories, technology providers, and researchers to contribute to a focused
program addressing the next phase of PFAS investigation, treatment, destruction, and long-term management.
Taking place on May 12, 2027, in Los Angeles, California, the one-day conference will bring
together the organizations responsible for managing PFAS contamination across drinking water systems, industrial facilities, airports, wastewater operations, landfills, contaminated sites, and complex waste streams throughout North America.
PFAS remediation is moving beyond detection and short-term compliance. Organizations must now make defensible decisions across source identification, site characterization, exposure pathways, treatment selection, residuals management, destruction or disposal, liability, and long-term stewardship. The challenge is not simply removing PFAS from one medium, but building remediation programs that deliver durable risk reduction with sustainable lifecycle
economics.
Five Strategic Pillars
The 2027 program is structured around five strategic pillars: Regulatory Compliance, Liability & Remediation Thresholds; Site Characterization, Source Attribution & Remedial Strategy; Treatment Selection, Performance & Integrated Systems; Residuals, Destruction & Waste Management; and Program Delivery, Economics & Long-Term Stewardship.
Across these themes, the conference will examine evolving regulatory requirements, source attribution, precursor analysis, plume behavior, groundwater and soil remediation, GAC, ion exchange, membrane systems, foam fractionation, short-chain PFAS removal, co-contaminant interference, treatment-train design, spent media, membrane concentrate, brines, biosolids, leachate, destruction technologies, lifecycle cost, funding, cost recovery, and portfolio-level program delivery.
Call for Speakers
The conference committee is seeking speakers who can bring real-world operational experience, technical expertise, regulatory perspective, and strategic insight to these discussions. Priority
will be given to contributions grounded in active remediation projects, treatment systems, field
demonstrations, operating data, measurable outcomes, and practical implementation lessons rather than broad corporate or promotional presentations.
Relevant contributors may include leaders from public water utilities, municipal authorities, industrial manufacturers, airports, defense and AFFF-affected sites, wastewater and waste operators, engineering and remediation firms, analytical laboratories, treatment and
destruction technology providers, regulators, legal specialists, researchers, and capital partners.
Speaking at PFAS Remediation Xchange USA 2027 provides an opportunity to contribute directly to the conversations shaping remediation strategy across North America while engaging with senior decision-makers responsible for environmental compliance, water quality, engineering, capital projects, waste management, technology deployment, and long-term remediation investment.
Advancing Defensible PFAS Remediation
With 100+ delegates, 15+ expert speakers, five strategic agenda pillars, and a 70%+ senior decision-maker focus, PFAS Remediation Xchange USA 2027 is designed to provide a concentrated environment for technical presentations, executive discussions, benchmarking, and structured networking.
The event centers on one defining question: what will it take to move from PFAS detection to defensible, scalable remediation?
Speaker proposals should include the speaker’s name, job title, organization, brief biography, and proposed topic or area of expertise.
